We find images from the Web that are covered under Fair Use and believed to belong in the public domain.


Posters of movies are usually borrowed from Wikipedia and are used to provide critical commentary on the film, event, etc. in question or of the poster itself, not solely for illustration:

We only try to use images that hold the following licenses where displaying of the media is allowed when given credit to the author: Attribution (CC BY), NonCommercial (CC BY-NC), No Derivative Works (CC BY-ND) and Share-Alike (CC BY-SA).

Any other images of celebrities and movie screenshots, which have not been borrowed from a public domain website, are selected from various entertainment news sites, where the content has been properly provided to - and credited by - the media. They are believed to hold one of the aforementioned licenses. When we use such material, we give credit to both the news media in question and the original source.
